Position Description: Nextgen Technologies has an exciting Contract opportunity for a AI Solutions Architect with our client in Canada.

Here is the description! Role: AI Solutions Architect Location: Mississauga Canada Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking a Hands-on AI Solutions Architect with strong experience in Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and enterprise-scale AI deployments.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, drive solution architecture, and lead the implementation of production-ready AI solutions.

The candidate should have practical experience designing, building, and deploying AI applications, along with a strong understanding of data engineering, cloud platforms, and modern AI frameworks.

Experience addressing real-world production challenges such as scalability, evaluation, monitoring, and hallucination mitigation is essential.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions.

Architect and optimize RAG, semantic search,



and knowledge retrieval systems.

Drive technical design, architecture decisions, and implementation best practices.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Lead the deployment of AI solutions into production environments and address operational challenges.

Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance across AI initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern AI frameworks.

Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases.

Knowledge of Graph RAG, Neo4j, vector search, and hybrid retrieval approaches.

Experience with Lang

Chain, Lang

Graph, MCP, or similar orchestration frameworks.

Robust background in data engineering and analytics platforms.

Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.

Exposure to CI/CD, production deployments, monitoring, and AI evaluation frameworks.
