We are actively seeking a Commercial Field Sales Representative for a top logistics client.

Role Overview: The Commercial Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by building relationships, conducting in-person client meetings, performing site surveys, and closing commercial contracts.
Unlike an inside sales role that focuses primarily on prospecting and appointment-setting, this position owns the full sales lifecycle from initial discovery to contract execution.
You will act as the face of the company in the field, helping to expand our market presence and secure long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Market Research & Territory Management Research and identify potential commercial clients within targeted industries and geographic territories.
Develop and execute a strategic territory plan using industry resources, networking, and provided marketing leads.
Identify key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target organizations.
Analyze local market trends, competitor activity, and expansion opportunities.
Business Development & Opportunity Management Leverage qualified leads generated by the inside sales team or self-sourced outreach to secure in-person and virtual meetings.
Build and maintain a robust, consistent sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Follow up diligently with prospects, nurture relationships, and advance opportunities through the sales funnel.
Site Surveys & Solution Engineering Conduct on-site visits and facility surveys to assess prospect needs,
take measurements, and evaluate operational requirements.
Collaborate with operational or technical teams to scope out customized solutions, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing models.
Understand complex client challenges and business objectives to position the appropriate company solutions.
Proposals, Presentations & Closing Develop professional proposals, scopes of work, and commercial bids tailored to each client''s specific needs.
Deliver compelling presentations and pitches to C-suite executives, property managers, and buying committees.
Negotiate contract terms, address client objections, and close business to secure new accounts.
Ensure a seamless handoff of closed accounts to the operations/account management team for onboarding and service delivery. CRM & Reporting Accurately record all prospect interactions, site survey notes, pipeline stages, and forecasting data within the companys CRM system.
Maintain up-to-date and clean account information.
Track conversion metrics, win/loss rates, and sales performance against targets.
Provide regular feedback to management regarding market intelligence, pricing pressures, and competitor strategies.
Qualifications Proven track record of success in outside/field sales, commercial B2B sales, or business development (preferred).
Robust closing skills with experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
Ability to conduct on-site facility walkthroughs and translate physical observations into tailored proposals.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build immediate trust with business leaders.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to independently manage a regional territory and travel schedule.
Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office (or Google Workspace), and virtual meeting tools.
Valid driver''s license and comfort with regular local/regional travel for client visits and site surveys.
Experience working in commercial services, facility services, healthcare, hospitality, property management, or related industries is considered a strong asset.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of in-person client meetings and site surveys conducted monthly.
Commercial proposals and bids submitted.
New sales contracts closed and total contract value Pipeline growth and overall win/loss conversion rates.
Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets.
