As a member of the Life Science Institute, you will play a vital role in supporting research and teaching through the maintenance and modification of laboratory instrumentation. You will collaborate with faculty, students, and research personnel to design and fabricate specialized devices, ensuring a seamless ongoing operation of laboratory projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain laboratory instrumentation for research and teaching
• Design and fabricate custom equipment based on technical specifications
• Consult with faculty on equipment needs and modifications
• Diagnose faults and recommend practical solutions
• Instruct users on proper equipment operation and safety
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a research environment
