Lead impactful change as the Strategic Initiatives Leader for United Way BC. This hybrid role focuses on community engagement and strategic planning across British Columbia.
In this pivotal position, you will report to the Senior Director of Community Impact & Investment. Your responsibilities involve coordinating grant processes, enhancing organizational capacity, and ensuring community priorities align with strategic action. Your cooperative nature will enable you to build trust-based partnerships while implementing vital initiatives that drive meaningful community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support grant lifecycle from concept to reporting
• Develop guidelines and application materials for clarity and alignment
• Lead eligibility screening and adjudication processes
• Monitor grant agreements and ensure compliance
• Liaise with teams and community agencies for aligned goals
Requirements:
• University Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector
• Proven skills in grant processes and community engagement
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities
• Excellent project management and communication skills
