We're currently seeking a Licensed Industrial Mechanic (433A Millwright) to join our maintenance team in Brantford. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and keeping production operating at peak performance, we want to hear from you.

Position Summary
The Licensed Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance,
troubleshooting and repair of production and facility equipment. This role plays a critical part in maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
You will work on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automated production systems while contributing to preventive maintenance initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Facility mechanical systems
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment issues.
Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
Respond to unplanned equipment downtime and emergency breakdowns.
Perform equipment installations, modifications and upgrades.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Execute and support preventive maintenance programs.
Perform equipment inspections and plant walk-throughs.
Identify opportunities to improve reliability and equipment performance.
Recommend corrective actions and equipment modifications to reduce downtime.
Safety & Compliance
Actively participate in all plant safety initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies.
Identify and address unsafe equipment or operating conditions.
Support a solid culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
Maintenance Planning & Coordination
Prioritize maintenance activities to support operational requirements.
Coordinate repairs with equipment manufacturers, vendors and contractors.
Assist in sourcing replacement parts and maintenance solutions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using CMMS.
Qualifications
Required
Licensed Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433A
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities
Experience working with:
Hydraulic systems
Pneumatic systems
Mechanical drives and power transmission components
Industrial production equipment
Ability to read equipment manuals, drawings and schematics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred
Experience troubleshooting production equipment
Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced production environment
CMMS experience (MaintainX or similar systems)
Welding and fabrication experience
Electrical troubleshooting knowledge would be considered an asset
