This role requires two years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited institution. As a Social Worker, you will enhance client well-being through effective psychosocial assessments and interventions. You will contribute to the healthcare team in addressing social, emotional, and psychological issues while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychosocial assessments for clients and families
• Implement tailored interventions to address health-related issues
• Collaborate effectively as part of the healthcare team
• Perform administrative functions as required by the department
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students and current staff
Requirements:
• Two years of relevant social work experience
• BSW from an accredited institution
• Registered with Manitoba College of Social Workers
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of health and social welfare systems
