At The Arlington Hotel and Rivers Edge in Paris, Ontario, youll work with the events team to turn floor plans and dcor details into rooms that are ready to welcome our guests.

What You Will Be Doing: Set tables, chairs, and other furniture according to event floor plans and contracts Prepare head tables, presentation areas, and guest tables with linens, dcor, dishware, glassware, and centrepieces Ensure that table settings and dcor are clean, polished, and arranged to Carmens Group standards Learn the dcor available for different events and follow each events set-up instructions Complete room changes and take down event spaces safely and efficiently Keep dcor and storage areas clean, organized, and ready for the next event Review finished spaces with your Manager and address any details that need attention Lift and move furniture and equipment safely, and assist with other event tasks as needed Job Requirements: Experience in events, catering,



or a similar role is an asset Strong organization skills and the ability to complete set-ups on schedule Attention to detail and pride in creating inviting spaces for guests A reliable, positive approach and a willingness to help your team The ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, and walking throughout your shift Flexible availability to work daytime shifts and on weekends is required Why Join Carmens Group?
