Express Scripts Canada is looking for passionate Pharmacists to join its Pharmacy Operations. This casual contract job requires availability Monday to Friday and immediate start. As a key player in patient support, you will ensure prescription accuracy, provide oversight to pharmacy technicians, and address patient inquiries effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and adherence to guidelines
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and maintain quality standards
• Counsel patients on medications and address clinical queries
• Train and mentor recent pharmacists and technicians
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required
• Experience in retail/mail order pharmacy preferred
• Solid understanding of pharmacy laws and ethics
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
• Valid BC pharmacist license mandatory
