Intermediate Systems Analyst to analyze and translate user telephony configurations from an existing PBX platform to the next-generation PBX environment for our public-sector client (Req 564)
Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Systems Analyst to analyze and translate user telephony configurations from an existing PBX platform to the next-generation PBX environment
Candidates must be located in Calgary. Hybrid work setting of 3 days in-office and 2 days WFH. 37.5 hour work week.
Must Haves
3+ years as a System Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with a focus on Telecommunications or Telephony projects
3+ years supporting telecommunication systems including hardware, software, and documentation deliverables
Experience in Microsoft Teams Phone and PBX migration support
Experience with call routing , hunt groups, call queues, voicemail settings, and DID assignments
Previous experience as developer or in a technical role
Nice to Have
Experience with wireline technology solutions including Nortel, Avaya, and Microsoft
Experience with Unified Communications solutions including Avaya, Microsoft, and Polycom
Knowledge of project management processes and PM documentation
Knowledge of system acquisition methodologies and quality standards
Responsibilities
Analyze user telephony configurations from the existing PBX platform
Translate legacy telephony settings into the new PBX and Teams voice architecture
Map user profiles, DIDs, line appearances, call flows, hunt groups, call queues, voicemail settings, and routing policies
Support bulk user migrations and validation testing
Perform post-cutover issue resolution
Configure call routing and voice policies
