Elevate your teaching career as a Part-Time Technologist in the Small Engine Apprenticeship at Commerce Court Campus, North Bay, ON. Share your industry knowledge while working up to 24 hours weekly.
This temporary contract role runs from October 26 to December 18, 2026. Successful candidates will bring expertise in Small Engine or Marine Engine technology and at least three years of industry experience. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles, equipment, and tools, while assisting with instruction and support duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Move vehicles and equipment in and out of the shop
• Maintain operational vehicles and training aids
• Manage and ensure all shop tools are secure to use
• Assist in controlling inventory for supplies
• Support program faculty and technologists when needed
Requirements:
• Small Engine 435A or Marine Engine 435B Technician certification
• Minimum three years of industry experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Teaching experience in a post-secondary setting is an asset
• Reliable commute to Commerce Court Campus required
