Provide essential support at Winnipeg School Division as an Educational Assistant C. Engage with students needing assistance to thrive in their educational journey.

This position involves working under the Principal's guidance, assisting students with educational and developmental disabilities, as well as those with behavioral challenges. Key responsibilities include providing instructional support, supervising students, and assisting teachers with various tasks. You will enhance student learning by helping them focus and complete assignments and may assist in implementing Individual Educational Plans (IEP).

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instructional assistance to individual or small student groups
• Support the implementation of IEPs and behavioral plans




• Supervise students during breaks and school activities
• Assist teachers in preparing and marking educational materials
• Monitor student safety during transport and school events

Requirements:
• Secondary education or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of experience with students facing challenges
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates
• Educational Assistant Diploma or Certificate preferred
• Transparent background checks required
