Join the Government of Nunavut as a Basic Radiological Technician in Cambridge Bay. Support diagnostic imaging, perform x-rays, and assist with laboratory services in our community health center.

This role, reporting to the Nurse Manager, focuses on delivering essential radiological services. You will perform x-rays, electrocardiograms (ECG), and assist with laboratory duties as part of the health team. Candidates must have a high school diploma and be willing to enroll in the Basic Radiological Technician training program within three years.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide radiological services within the health center
• Collect blood and laboratory samples from patients
• Instruct patients on biological sample collection




• Offer clerical support to diagnostic services
• Perform ECG and holter monitor services as referred

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Willingness to complete BRT/Lab Clerk program
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
• Fluency in Inuktut, English, or French is an asset
• Understanding of Inuit communities and culture is preferred
