Join Lookout Housing and Health Society as a part time Clinical Support Worker, supporting adults in their journey toward independence. This temporary role focuses on assistance, education, and skill training.
The Clinical Support Worker will report directly to the Site Manager, playing a pivotal role in assisting residents with various challenges. You will develop service plans and ensure all basic needs are met, working closely with individuals on their path to stability. Successful candidates should have a robust ability to manage stress and be excellent communicators, as this role entails direct interaction with disadvantaged adults.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in resident intake and assessment for support services
• Develop service plans and administer finances and medication
• Ensure basic needs are regularly met with ongoing support
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain evaluative data
• Collaborate with volunteers and practicum students
Requirements:
• Related diploma or Grade 12 education with two years of experience
• Current OFA 1 First Aid Certificate required
• Familiarity with community resources, crisis intervention skills preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must have a clear criminal record for vulnerable sector
