Become an essential part of the Brant Community Healthcare System as a Surgical Nurse. This role focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care within the perioperative program at our Brantford and Paris locations.

The Brant Community Healthcare System seeks a dedicated Surgical Nurse to report to the Manager of Operating Room, PACU, and Day Surgery. A strong candidate will have two years of experience in surgical settings, hold a valid BCLS certification, and possess IV Certification. By prioritizing exceptional care and team collaboration, you’ll play a key role in improving patient outcomes while developing your skilled skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer nursing care in the perioperative setting
• Collaborate with inter-professional team members
• Ensure optimal patient assessment and care




• Maintain effective communication with patients and families
• Uphold infection control measures and safety protocols

Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited college nursing program
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years in surgical or day surgery environments
• Current BCLS and IV certification
• Commitment to ongoing education in nursing
