This position reports to the Drug Distribution Manager and works under the guidance of a Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital. You will be responsible for procurement, inventory management, dispensing, and packaging of medications according to department policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement and inventory of pharmaceuticals
• Assist in compounding and dispensing medications
• Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of prescriptions




• Maintain effective communication within the health care team
• Comply with privacy standards related to patient care

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education, Manitoba Standards required
• Graduate or near completion of a pharmacy program
• Pharmacy Technician Certificate essential
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
