As a key member of the OT Clinical Pharmacy team, you will perform dispensary duties, including medication review, entry, and clinical troubleshooting using the Meditech Expanse Pharmacy module. You'll also support pharmacy technicians and assist in decentralized medication reviews across various patient care units. The role is based in Oakville with occasional remote coverage during nights, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct medication order reviews and data entry
• Serve as a resource for Pharmacy Technicians and Students
• Provide backup coverage for patient care unit responsibilities
• Troubleshoot clinical and drug distribution issues
• Participate in medication reconciliation and resolution
Requirements:
• B.Sc. Phm required; licensure eligibility mandatory
• Relevant clinical experience in pharmacy settings
• Experience with Meditech computer systems preferred
• Strong dispensing skills and aseptic technique
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
