437 is looking for a Content Producer & Video Editor to develop and execute a growing slate of original video content. This is a hands-on creative role that blends filming, editing, storytelling, and production management. You'll work closely with a founder and executive, capturing both planned and spontaneous moments and turning them into long- and short-form content people actually want to watch.
This isn't corporate content, and it isn't pointing a camera and documenting what happens. We're looking for someone who knows the difference between capturing a moment and finding the story within it. The work should feel elevated but natural, culturally relevant without chasing trends, and distinctive enough that it couldn't have been made for anyone else.
Responsibilities Content Production Produce, film, and edit recurring long- and short-form video content
Capture planned and candid moments across work, travel, events, and day-to-day life
Recognize compelling stories as they unfold, and know when to observe, when to ask another question, and when to keep rolling
Provide light direction on set so the person being filmed feels natural, not scripted
Capture the details and transitional moments that make storytelling feel immersive
Editing & Storytelling Own the edit from raw footage through final delivery
Find the strongest narrative within a larger body of footage
Build hooks, pacing, structure, voiceover, music, graphics, and captions
Create platform-specific versions and cutdowns for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond
Maintain an elevated visual standard without the work feeling overly polished
Collaborate with outside editors or specialists when additional support is needed
Creative Development Stay closely attuned to culture, creators, media, and evolving content formats
Bring proactive ideas forward rather than waiting for assignments
Spot content opportunities in upcoming schedules, travel, events, and everyday moments
Prepare concepts, shot lists, interview prompts, and production plans as needed
Planning & Production Translate a fast-moving schedule into a realistic filming and publishing plan
Decide what's worth capturing and what isn't
Manage timelines, approvals, revisions, exports, and publishing readiness
Maintain an organized production calendar and content pipeline
Minimize the project management required from the person you're supporting
Content Library & Archiving Consolidate existing footage across phones, cloud storage, hard drives, and shared folders into one searchable system
Build a clear folder structure and naming convention for new and archival assets
Surface relevant historical footage for future storytelling
Qualifications An emerging videographer, editor, filmmaker, or content producer with strong creative instincts and a portfolio to show for it
Comfortable operating a camera and editing your own footage with a lean setup
Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar, with a working understanding of lighting, audio, and file management
Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, narrative, and audience retention
Deeply familiar with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and creator-led storytelling
Highly organized and proactive, and able to take projects from idea to delivery without significant oversight
Discreet and trustworthy with confidential business and personal information
Flexible to travel or work outside traditional hours when an significant moment is happening
Bonus if you have experience in YouTube, documentary-style, or editorial content, or an interest in fashion, wellness, lifestyle, and business
We care more about taste, initiative, and your ability to capture something real than years on a résumé. Formal film or media education is welcome but not required.
