Join the NT NEIHR in Yellowknife as a Program Coordinator focused on Indigenous health research. Lead community engagement, project coordination, and communications for meaningful health initiatives.
In this full-time role at the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research, you will work directly with staff, Elders, students, and partners to ensure successful program delivery. Main responsibilities include network coordination, logistical planning, and facilitating community connections for research. Collaboration and relationship-building are key aspects of this role as you support Indigenous health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute NT NEIHR program activities
• Coordinate project planning and evaluation
• Maintain relationships with community partners
• Support Indigenous graduate scholarship programs
• Facilitate communication within the network
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a related field
• Experience in community-based program management
• Robust communication skills
• Ability to navigate Northern social contexts
• Organized with time management skills
