MDSearch is seeking a Family Physician with Expertise in Medical Dermatology to take on the role of Medical Director at a leading aesthetic & dermatology clinic in St. Catharines, ON.

Mainly, you will provide medical dermatology consultations and procedures, including lesion removal, mole mapping, and surveillance, with opportunities to incorporate cosmetic dermatology (mole removal, laser treatments, androgenic alopecia management, and tattoo removal). As Medical Director, your responsibilities extend to overseeing the clinic’s operations in collaboration with the Regional Director and support staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in Dermatology

Current license in good standing with the CPSO

Diploma in Dermatology (e.g., Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology)



or equivalent postgraduate dermatology training required

Prior leadership experience in a clinical or aesthetic setting

Comfortable performing dermatologic assessments and minor procedures

Interest in developing new skills (laser treatments, mole mapping, androgenic alopecia management)

Calm, mentoring approach with excellent patient care skills

Compensation
Productivity-based compensation with the potential to generate approximately $80K–$100K+ annually per 1 day/week commitment, once established (after clinic split, before taxes), plus a monthly stipend and an additional percentage on supervised treatments. Actual earnings vary based on patient volume, retention, treatment mix, and individual performance.

Medical Recognition Team Plan (MRTP):
An prospect to share in your clinic’s profitability. Providers who meet gross-profit and cross-selling criteria earn a share of a quarterly incentive pool — open to all physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses.
