Our client, a well-established organization located in the heart of Mississauga , is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to convert to a permanent position .

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities , including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting activities

Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations

Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting

Analyze financial information and support accounting-related projects

Work within a high-volume, transaction-driven environment





Qualifications

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Solid hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close

Proven experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and financial statements

Experience working in a mid-to-large-sized organization with high transaction volumes

Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail

Proactive, motivated and results-oriented

Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables ; Macros are an asset
