As a Cook, you will report to the Dietary Manager and ensure meal preparation meets our residents' dietary needs. Your responsibilities will include reviewing meal plans, maintaining proper food safety techniques, and preparing therapeutic diets. Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver meals for residents, guests, and staff
• Review menus and produce attractive, secure meal options
• Conduct daily temperature audits for food storage




• Prepare therapeutic diets as per menu plans
• Participate in special occasion planning and menu substitutions

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in large quantity food preparation
• Knowledge of special dietary requirements
• Ability to lift and transfer hot, heavy items
• Willingness to complete Vulnerable Sector Check
