As a Building Patrol Officer at NAIT, you will deter criminal activity, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related incidents. You're tasked with protecting property, educating campus members on policies, and ensuring safety during emergencies. You'll work in a highly visible role, building rapport with students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine patrols of campus buildings and grounds
• Deter criminal activity through a visible security presence
• Respond to suspicious activities and security service calls




• Provide first aid and evacuation assistance in emergencies
• Monitor access to facilities and secure designated areas

Requirements:
• High School Diploma and minimum one year of security experience
• Valid Alberta Security Services License and Class 5 Driver’s License
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Completion of Basic Security Guard Training Course
• CPR/First Aid certification
