We are looking for a bilingual Controlle r to join our clients team in Gloucester, Ontario on a Contract basis .

This role is suited to a designated accounting specialist who brings solid leadership capability and a solid background in project-based financial oversight.

The successful candidate will guide core accounting operations, support accurate reporting, and help maintain effective financial controls in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Lead daily accounting activities, ensuring financial records are accurate, current, and aligned with organizational standards.

Oversee month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and the preparation of financial statements.

Manage payroll administration and related financial reporting to support timely and compliant processing.

Develop, monitor,



and refine budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.

Supervise accounting staff, provide direction on priorities, and promote consistent performance across the team.

Support project accounting requirements by tracking costs, reviewing financial performance, and reporting on project-related results.

Prepare management reports using available financial systems and reporting tools, including customized output where required.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls, while helping improve accounting procedures and system-based workflows as needed.
