This position is part-time, offering 20 hours per week in a permanent role assisting the Member. You will organize events, respond to queries, manage social media, and prepare research materials. Building a rapport with local constituents and maintaining a robust media presence is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize events, meetings, and press conferences
• Respond to constituent inquiries through various channels
• Prepare and compile research material for communication
• Monitor media for the Member’s public presence
• Advocate for constituents through effective casework
Requirements:
• Knowledge of NDP and Canadian public affairs
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Proficiency in social media platforms
• Experience in community organizing or NDP
• Familiarity with local stakeholders and community
