The Satellite Program Assistant will aid in the operation and delivery of essential community programming at multiple sites. Ideal candidates will have local experience in the Midland and Danforth areas, contributing to a safe and inclusive environment for participants. Responsibilities include supporting evening activities, facilitating engaging sessions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and take down community programming at Gordon Ridge Place
• Provide operational support for after hours youth activities




• Ensure program spaces are clean and welcoming
• Assist facilitators during program sessions
• Foster connections with participants and local residents
Requirements:
• Strong local community experience in Scarborough
• Background in Social Services or Community Development
• Program support experience in youth development
• Skills in de-escalation and conflict resolution
• Flexibility to work 15 hours weekly, including evenings
