We are looking for a kind, dependable and trustworthy companion/caregiver for our 87-year-old father in Markham. He is able to walk independently and has no continence issues. Our goal is to help him stay active, social and independent.

We are looking for someone to spend approximately 3 hours with him, 3–5 times per week. Compensation dependent on experience and if you have a vehicle, although that may not be necissary

Typical visits would include:

- Pick him up from his home and take him to the gym or park, weather permitting
- Take him grocery shopping, out for lunch, or to a mall to walk around
- Bring him home and help him prepare lunch and dinner for later
- Make sure he is taking his medications as scheduled
- Provide companionship and conversation along the way

You must have your own reliable car,

a valid driver's licence, and be willing to pass a background check. Experience with seniors is preferred, but most key to us is finding someone who is kind, patient, reliable and genuinely enjoys spending time with older adults.

If you're interested, please send us a message and tell us a little about yourself, your experience, your availability, and why you think you would be a good fit for our dad.
