The Saskatchewan Research Council is looking for a Research Technologist to become an essential part of the REE Commercial team. This role involves laboratory and pilot-scale testing and supports the execution of projects in REE processing. Candidates will work closely with engineers and scientists, contributing to process development and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale testing for REE process development
- Support hydrometallurgy and solvent extraction projects
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment effectively
- Collect and organize data for technical analysis
- Assist with test planning and troubleshooting processes
Requirements:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in chemical processing or pilot plant operations
- Familiarity with chemical handling and data documentation
- Robust commitment to safety and accuracy
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting lab equipment
