I'm offering a rent-free living space in exchange for housecleaning duties (twice a week total 6 hours) for my elderly mother, who lives alone. The basement suite includes a newly renovated private bedroom, bathroom and comfortable sitting area.
You can have outside employment or commitments. Also, my mother has a friendly pet cat.
Note: My mother is independent and active, and also receives regular care from certified PSWs. The main need is housekeeping support and a nearby presence. My mother has mild dementia so we would give preference to someone who has experience dealing with this situation.
