Job Details Various locations On site C$26.00 hourly / 35.00 hours per week Permanent Employment/Full time Early morning, Evening, Flexible hours, Morning, Night, On call, Day, Weekends Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Financial benefits 2 vacancies Job Bank #3680208 Overview Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Various locations Responsibilities Tasks • Load, unload and transport construction materials • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt • Level earth to fine grade specifications • Assist in demolishing buildings • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites • Perform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment • Assist skilled tradespersons • Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck • Assist with landscape constructions • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens • Prepare floors for installations • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment Additional information Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities • Fast-paced workplace • Work under pressure • Physically demanding • Repetitive tasks • Handling heavy loads • Attention to detail • Hand-eye co-ordination Personal suitability • Team player • Hardworking Benefits Financial benefits Mileage paid Employment groups: This employer promotes equal employment opportunities for all job applicants, including those self-identifying as a member of these groups: • Support for youths Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Who can apply for this job?
