About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Clerk to join their team in East London . This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy of inventory records and supporting smooth warehouse operations. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving, counting, and recording inventory, as well as investigating discrepancies.

The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn about inventory management processes within a busy logistics setting.

Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory accurately.
Conduct physical counts of inventory and compare them to system records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory levels.
Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure proper labeling.
Generate reports on inventory status, including stock levels and movement.




Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in an inventory or warehouse role is preferred.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory management concepts.
