Position Purpose The primary function of Inside Sales is to provide product knowledge on building materials to current and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers who enter the facility.
Manage incoming phone calls, inquiries, and orders.
Provide project quotes, enter delivery/special orders, and assist in purchasing.
Meet project timelines to anticipate customer needs.
Collaborate with Shipping to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met.
Work with outside sales staff to stay current with project work and specialty items.
Learn about current building and home improvement materials to increase retail sales.
Ensure the facility is clean and stocked.
Always be an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications At least 1 year of Inside Sales experience.
At least 2 years of administrative experience.
Customer service experience in fast paced setting required.
Building material and home improvement product knowledge an asset.
Effective communication skills, verbal, and written English.
Excellent computer skills.

Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
