- Degree - Senior provides leadership to the activities of the clinical service area of specialization within the therapy service to ensure that patients referred to that service receive high-quality physiotherapy and that students assigned to that unit receive clinical education of high standard.
Responsible for a clinical caseload and provides direct care to clients.
Reports directly to Manager.
Plans and delivers therapy services to individuals, families and groups.
Completes a needs analysis for individuals and groups within designated areas of the SHA.
Based on this needs assessment, plans, develops and delivers treatment programs.
This may include providing direct therapy to clients but often involves training and consulting to other caregivers who provide direct patient care.
Organizes therapy services in a designated area in accordance within the philosophy, objectives and policies of the therapy program and the SHA.
Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy Experience Minimum two years' experience in an increasingly independent professional role Knowledge,
