Sales and Account Representative - Wholesale Trade, Dental Products

This role will be responsible for promoting and selling the Company’s dental products, including products supplied by key international manufacturing and supplier partners of dental products and equipment. The position will focus on dental burs, dental equipment, and related dental products and supplies, serving dental professionals, dental laboratories, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and other qualified customers across Ontario and domestic and international markets.
Job duties:
- Promote and sell the Company’s dental products, including products supplied by key suppliers and products, such as dental burs, dental equipment, and related dental products and supplies; manage existing B2B customer and key accounts and develop opportunities for increased sales.
- Identify, prospect, and solicit new wholesale customers and B2B sales opportunities with dental professionals, dental laboratories, distributors, wholesalers, and other industry-related customers domestically and internationally.
- Prepare and deliver product and sales presentations explaining the benefits, uses, features, applications, and commercial value of dental products, including dental burs, diamond tips, carbide drills, polishers, abrasive strips, and related products; participate in product launches and trade-show activities as required.
- Consult with clients, distributors, stakeholders, and prospective buyers regarding dental products and supplies; prepare and negotiate quotations covering pricing, payment or credit terms, warranties, delivery dates, distribution terms, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of sales orders, quotations, distribution agreements, sales agreements, contracts, and other sales documentation and other Company-supplied products, including commercial agreements for OEM/private-label products where applicable. Coordinate with international suppliers and stakeholders to source and secure dental products and maintain knowledge of applicable product registration and regulatory requirements relevant to the products being sold.
- Provide post-sales and account support, respond to customer inquiries, resolve commercial and order-related issues, coordinate with customers and distributors, and maintain ongoing B2B customer and key-account relationships.
- Monitor product innovations, product launches,
competitor products and pricing, customer demand, market conditions, and industry trends affecting dental products and wholesale sales; adapt sales activities and strategies to support business growth and market expansion.
- Represent the Company in international sales and export activities and communicate with international suppliers, including distributors, and customers to support international trade, export sales, distribution relationships, and the import and export of dental products.
- Conduct B2B sales transactions and customer communications through Internet-based electronic commerce, email, telephone, online meetings, and other electronic communication channels.
- May coordinate or supervise the activities of other sales representatives and support the implementation of sales, account-management, and business-development activities as required.

Skills requirements:
Required education:
- Completion of college diploma, or other post-secondary program in Business Administration/Management, or a related field is required, with training relevant to sales, business development, commercial activities, and management of customer and distributor relationships.
Required number of years of experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in sales or in an occupation related to the products or services being sold, including wholesale, B2B sales, account management, business development, distributor management, or international sales. Foreign-country work experience, particularly experience working with Brazilian or international companies, is required due to the Company’s international supplier and customer relationships.
- Demonstrated experience promoting and selling products, developing new business, managing existing and key accounts,
soliciting prospective clients, preparing quotations, negotiating commercial and distribution terms, and providing post-sales customer support, including developing strategic partnerships and negotiating long-term distribution agreements.
- Demonstrated experience with Compancoy key suppliers and its dental product portfolio, with the ability to use product knowledge to effectively promote and represent the product line, explain product benefits and uses, support customer purchasing decisions, and communicate pricing, commercial terms, warranties, product availability, and delivery requirements.
- Experience managing distributors, wholesale customers, key accounts, and business partnerships within the dental, medical, healthcare, or related product sectors, with an understanding of applicable product quality, registration, and regulatory requirements, including Health Canada, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and ISO 13485 requirements, as relevant to the products being marketed, sold, and distributed.
- Experience in domestic and international sales, export sales, import/export operations, and international trade, including working with foreign suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers. Experience attending and representing the Company’s products at international trade shows and industry events to develop customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, promote products, and support market expansion is required.
- Experience developing and implementing sales strategies, business-development initiatives, and market-expansion activities in domestic and international markets.
- Strong English communication skills and fluency in a foreign language are required to support effective communication with domestic and international customers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and business partners. Portuguese language skills are considered an asset, particularly for communication with the Company’s Brazilian supplier and other Portuguese-speaking business contacts.
- Experience supervising or coordinating other sales representatives is required where the position involves supervisory responsibilities.
- Professional sales certification is considered an asset but is not required.
