ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Cancer Care Program of NL Health Services has a provincial mandate to deliver cancer care to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. It operates at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre (DHBMCC) in St. Johns, with regional cancer centres providing systemic therapy in Corner Brook, Gander, and Grand Falls. NL Health Services is currently seeking one (1) Radiation Oncologist to join the clinical team at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre in St. Johns, NL.
Key strengths of the program include a focus on well‑being and work‑life balance, a cohesive and collaborative team, and solid relationships with medical physicists, nurses, and other health professionals. The local area offers an abundance of recreational opportunities and the ability to explore the natural beauty of the province.
The successful candidate will work alongside 10 other Radiation Oncologists based in St. John’s. Our Oncologists participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds and work closely with colleagues within the provincial cancer care program. The Cancer Care Program is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. This position offers opportunities for teaching, scholarly activities, and clinical trials participation.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador, commensurate with level of training and experience.
