As a Cloud Database Administrator, you will engage in building and maintaining databases across public cloud platforms. Key responsibilities include optimizing database performance, implementing disaster recovery solutions, and collaborating with cloud engineers on cutting-edge database solutions. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role where each team member is encouraged to own significant parts of the solution end to end.
Key Responsibilities:
• Automate database design and maintenance for high availability
• Monitor Azure and AWS database services for performance




• Optimize queries and troubleshoot performance issues
• Implement backup and disaster recovery pipelines
• Collaborate with engineers on database automation
Requirements:
• 1+ years as a Database Administrator in Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Proven ability to manage time and work independently
• Participation in an on-call roster
• Strong problem-solving capabilities under pressure
