Job DescriptionAs a Summer Student Production Associate, you will support daily production and manufacturing operations, working collaboratively to meet quality, safety, and performance targets.Contract DetailsContract duration: May – August 21Starting rate: $22.25/hour (Increase: $22.50/hour after 3 months)Afternoon shift premium: +$1.00/hourHours: 40–48 hours per weekOvertime: Paid after 42 hoursVacation pay: 4% paid out on each chequeSchedule: Straight AfternoonAfternoon Shift: 3PM - 11PMOvertime & Saturday shifts: May be required based on business needsKey Responsibilities Include:Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to meet quality standards and specificationsReview work orders and prepare materials for productionSafely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and automated machineryInspect finished products and report defects or quality concernsPrepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and loadingParticipate in 5S and continuous improvement initiativesContribute ideas to improve safety, quality,



and efficiencySupport production goals and team performance targetsFollow leadership direction and verify quality through measurementAdhere strictly to safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a teamWhat We're Looking ForCurrently enrolled in a college or university programAvailable to work full‐time for the entire contract periodReliable, punctual, and eager to learnComfortable working in a physically active production environmentQualificationsPrevious experience in general labour, construction, or manufacturing is preferredWilling to learn, with a positive attitude and solid work ethicAble to stand for a full shiftComfortable working in a physically active, safety sensitive production setting; able to lift and maneuver products (30–50 lbs, medium to heavy lifting)Reliable, punctual, and eager to learnManual dexterity and comfort handling materialsExperience using hand tools and power toolsAbility to read a tape measure accuratelySafety‐conscious and detail‐oriented18 years of age or older and eligible to work in CanadaMust be available for two‐week rotating shiftsMust be available to work overtime and Saturdays when required
