The Child Development Institute seeks a dedicated Social Worker to join their Mothers in Mind® team until January 2027. This position focuses on delivering clinical support in group settings, ensuring nurturing environments for mothers and their children. You will play a critical role in guiding families through trauma, fostering secure relationships while utilizing evidence-based practices in mental health and child development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster secure and nurturing environments for groups
• Administer psycho-social assessments and create treatment plans




• Lead evidence-based group therapy sessions for mothers
• Manage intake, transition, and discharge planning
• Conduct ongoing assessments and implement safety plans
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Social Work or higher, registering with relevant colleges
• Clinical experience in children's mental health and trauma
• Exceptional communication and listening skills
• Adaptable availability for evening sessions
• Comply with agency standards for documentation
