Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist with the Dual Diagnosis Consultation Outreach Team (DDCOT) in Kingston, Ontario. This full time role focuses on comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration to enhance the lives of adults with dual diagnoses.
As a vital member of the interprofessional DDCOT, you'll deliver assessments and consultation while providing targeted treatment for individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges. This role requires a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, along with at least three years of relevant experience in dual diagnosis or similar fields. You will work alongside community partners to optimize client outcomes and improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and treatment for clinical caseloads
• Review and evaluate ongoing care plans




• Identify and recommend occupational performance interventions
• Assist individuals in planning social and leisure activities
• Provide educational support to caregivers about client needs
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Minimum three years in dual diagnosis or psychiatric settings
• Clinical experience with dual diagnosis clients
• Proven collaboration with families and agencies
