Overview Lead the design, standardization, and migration of control system hardware/software as we unify multiple controller platforms into a single Soft PLC architecture. This role focuses on building repeatable, scalable, well‑documented control products, not one‑off custom systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop standard, configurable control system architectures, reusable code libraries, and HMI templates.

Maintain standard BOMs, controlled drawings, and documented functionality.

Apply DFM, DFS, and configuration management to ensure consistent production and serviceability.

Platform Unification & Migration

Convert legacy control applications into standardized Soft PLC product applications.

Execute HMI migrations using consistent UI patterns.

Manage changes through formal ECR/ECN/ECO processes.

Quality, Validation & Release

Implement advanced control features within the standard product architecture.

Support stage‑gate development, rollout planning, and cross‑functional integration.





Define and run standard test procedures, validation protocols, and acceptance criteria.

Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, or related engineering field.

5–7 years in industrial automation or control systems engineering, with experience developing repeatable, productized solutions.

PLC/Soft PLC programming experience within a formal product development lifecycle.

Strong background in BOM/drawing release, configuration control, and engineering change processes.

Familiarity with Modbus, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, and industrial testing methodologies.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in an R&D; workplace (prototype builds, structured testing, early‑stage validation).
