As a continuing education contract instructor, you will facilitate a hands-on lab experience for dental assisting students, ensuring they develop essential skills in a supportive workplace. You are expected to prepare and supervise lab sessions, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback. With a focus on building a diverse learning community, this role emphasizes supporting Indigenous students and creating an inclusive education atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare lab schedules and training supplies
• Teach and demonstrate dental assisting techniques
• Monitor and assess student performance
• Communicate course expectations clearly
• Finalize grades and complete administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Graduate of accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program
• Current Dental Assisting license in Saskatchewan
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Experience in adult education or teaching
