Summary Of Duties

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Operate commercial dishwashers according to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Sort and organize clean items in designated storage areas
- Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces and kitchen equipment
- Explicit and reset tables in dining areas between seatings, as needed and transports service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning
- Remove garbage and recycling from the kitchen and dishwashing stations




- Restock cleaning supplies and notifying supervisors when inventory is low
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness
- Support cooks and kitchen staff with basic preparation or organizational tasks
- Always follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with closing or opening cleaning procedures as assigned
- Load/unload supply deliveries transferring between storage and designated work areas (shelves and coolers)

Qualifications

- High School Diploma preferred
- English/ Hindi/ Punjabi preferred
