Build the AI systems our clients actually run on.

As an AI Developer at Closetech AI, you'll work across our client engagements and our own products — including PointO and Closetech EcoCore — building AI systems that hold up in production, not just in a demo.

You'll move between prototyping new ideas quickly and hardening what works into something a small business can depend on every day. Most weeks involve a mix of model integration, custom AI agent development, and the surrounding engineering it takes to ship something real.

You'll work closely with the rest of the team, from strategy through delivery, so you'll see the direct business impact of what you build — not just the technical side of it.

What you'll do

What the role covers day to day.

- Design, build, and ship AI systems and agents for client projects and internal products.
- Integrate and fine-tune models from providers like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek, and work on our own Closetech EcoCore model.
- Build the automation, tooling, and infrastructure needed to run AI systems reliably in production.




- Work directly with clients and the delivery team to translate business requirements into working AI systems.
- Debug, monitor, and improve systems already in production — performance, cost, and reliability all matter.

What we're looking for

What we're looking for.

- Solid software engineering fundamentals — you can design, build, and ship real systems, not just notebooks.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or similar).
- Comfort working across the stack, from backend services to the AI logic itself.
- A practical, get-it-shipped mindset — you'd rather deliver something that works than perfect something that doesn't.
- Clear communication — you can explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

Nice to have, not required.

- Experience with model efficiency, fine-tuning, or smaller purpose-built models.
- Experience building AI agents or automation for small or mid-sized businesses.
- Familiarity with Preact/React and contemporary frontend tooling.
