Join Forge as a Manufacturing Estimator to optimize our quoting process and support rapid-paced CNC production. This role requires keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of manufacturing operations.
At Forge, you will manage the end-to-end quoting process while reviewing RFQs and reading engineering drawings for effective part manufacturing. As you communicate with customers regarding their orders, your analytical skills will play a vital role in achieving efficiency. Candidates do not need prior estimating experience but should have experience in CNC machining or manufacturing engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess incoming RFQs and decide job acceptance
• Interpret engineering drawings for quoting needs




• Define manufacturing setups and orientations
• Communicate effectively regarding DFM issues
• Generate quick and accurate quotes for customers
Requirements:
• Strong background in machining or manufacturing
• Ability to interpret engineering designs
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Patient when resolving technical questions
• Interest in learning shop processes beyond estimating
