What is GCM?

On a daily basis you will have to:
Model steel and concrete structures in a 3D environment
Prepare plan views, elevations,



steel sections and details as well as steel and concrete structures.
Perform surveys and site visits.
Review shop drawings.
Coordinate with drafters/designers from other departments on multidisciplinary projects.
Manage space in 3D models.
In collaboration with the engineering team, contribute to the development of structural concepts to meet the challenges of each project.
Coordinate the work with the structural engineers.
Requirements:
DEP in industrial drafting or DEC in Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
Relevant experience in the field.
Approximately 5 years of experience.
You are the one we are looking for if you have:
Knowledge of at least one 2D software: AutoCAD,
Advance Steel
and/or Revit (mastering all three would be an asset).
Knowledge of at least one 3D software: ProSteel, Revit or
Advance Steel
(mastering all three would be an asset).
Excellent ability to work in a team and positive organizational skills.
Fluency in French and English required occasionally since the person will collaborate with colleagues and clients outside of Quebec, both written and oral

ASP Construction certification

Relevant experience in industrial projects
petrochemical, industrial and mining -
asset.
Relevant experience in multidisciplinary projects

Knowledge of BIM management - asset.
