The City of Markham is seeking a dedicated student for an internship starting January 4, 2027. This role offers 8- to 12-month terms focusing on asset management and sustainability. You’ll update project data, assist with planning, and support net-zero initiatives while enhancing your skills in Microsoft Office and data tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update and track life-cycle and capital projects data
• Support planning for capital construction and budgets
• Assist with scopes of work and project initiation
• Contribute to net-zero project research and reporting
• Maintain furniture and facility inventory records
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program
• Interest in asset management and sustainability
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
• Valid Ontario G driver’s license is an asset
