We are looking for a Scheduler to work in our busy Community North Shore Healthcare Agency.

DUTIES

- Coordinate service requests and schedule assignments for community home support staff
- Develop, monitor and maintain client schedules
- Coordinate day to day and long-term staff scheduling
- Answer staff phone calls and texts
- Share after-hours and weekend on-call duties
- Assist HR Coordinator to:
- Interview applicants and maintain adequate staffing levels
- New applicant reference checks and qualification verification
- Keep employee and client files up to date
- Review employee hours bi-weekly and entering payroll data into database
- Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

- Computer literate – MS office with an emphasis on Excel
- Ability to operate scheduling software in a windows workplace (ClearCare / WellSky experience a bonus)
- Planning/scheduling experience or equivalent education required
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience, preferably in a health care environment
- Healthcare or nursing experience and knowledge of medical terminology an asset, but not required

and the capability to work well under deadlines and pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively to clients and families, community health workers and all members of the health care team

COMPENSATION

$28.50-$32.50/hour to start plus excellent group benefits
