Make a difference as a Support Worker for at-risk youth at 360°kids. This role focuses on providing essential care and housing support during overnight shifts in York Region.
As a key player in the well-being of youth, you will manage up to four individuals in the connections program. This involves assessing their needs, facilitating access to services, and guiding them through crises. Your support will help them gain stability and break the cycle of homelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess housing needs and connect youth to resources
• Provide emotional support and encouragement daily
• Conduct weekly meetings for feedback on services
• Ensure compliance with house rules and safety
• Complete daily documentation and reporting requirements
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Youth Work or Social Services
• At least three years' experience in youth support
• Knowledge of HIFIS and case management tools
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
