Become a part of VERMILION FORKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL as a temporary Learning Assistance Teacher with a focus on literacy and numeracy. Help adapt educational resources to meet diverse learning needs. This part time role is set at a 0.20 FTE and runs until June 30, 2027.

The candidate must have a BC Teaching Certificate and a solid background in working with grade-level students. Additionally, they should aim to develop positive relationships and support the social-emotional needs of all learners. Key Responsibilities:
Adapt materials and assessments for student needs
Teach using the BC Curriculum
Establish relationships with students and the school community
Support social-emotional learning initiatives
Collaborate with educators and staff for holistic student support Requirements:
Valid BC Teaching Certificate, category five or higher
Training in learning assistance practices
Experience with grade-level adaptations
Commitment to inclusive education
