Title: Technical Business Analyst, Strategy & Operations Requisition ID: The Role The Technical Business Analyst, Strategy and Operations role will support the Enterprise Data & AI Technology organization, a key strategic initiative for Scotiabank. With enterprise-wide reach, the program requires strong communication, sound financial oversight, solid contract management strategic planning, and disciplined execution. The Technical Business Analyst, Strategy and Operations, plays a vital role and partners closely with the Senior Managers to collectively ensure vendor contracts are progressed, approved, and invoices are completed in a timely manner. Additionally, managing and onboarding current hires for a smooth experience. Acting as an assistant to the Senior Manager, the Analyst coordinates numerous activities across internal teams, gathers required input and approvals from stakeholders, and ensures processes move forward efficiently. This position also ensures that all strategies, plans,



and initiatives are executed in alignment with regulatory requirements, financial controls, and internal policies and procedures. What You’ll Do: Contracts and Vendor Management Ensure appropriate procedures are followed when engaging vendors, including understanding and coordinating the RFP process. Manage, process, and track all contractual documentation, including SOWs, MSAs, renewals, and amendments. Proactively follow up on contract processing issues, such as exceptions or non-standard documentation. Maintain current knowledge of Procurement policies, Third-Party Risk Management processes, and OSFI regulatory requirements. Document key decisions and action items from meetings and ensure timely follow-through. Financial and Invoicing Process and maintain an up-to-date invoice tracking repository. Update invoice records with project tracking details and
