Become a Crisis Worker with CMHA Peel Dufferin and help transform lives through mental health support. This full time position involves phone and field-based crisis intervention in a community setting. We are looking for a dedicated Crisis Worker to join our committed health team.

You will engage directly with individuals facing mental health crises, providing timely triage services, conducting safety assessments, and forming cooperative relationships with local support agencies. Daily, you will focus on making a positive impact in your community. Key Responsibilities:
Triage crisis calls and deliver immediate support
Conduct mental health risk assessments and evaluations
Develop and implement intervention plans collaboratively




Partner with law enforcement for mobile assessments
Provide thorough follow-up with clients following crises Requirements:
University degree in Psychology, Nursing, or related field
At least 3 years of experience in mental health
Familiar with mental health legislation and intervention practices
Openness to continuous learning and diversity training
